BUCHAREST (Romania)
Officially founded in 1459 by Prince Vlad Tepes (Count Dracula), the name of Bucharest is derived from the word "Bucur," which means joyful. The city flourished during the early 20th century when it became known as "Little Paris," because of the strong influence of French architects. The two and a half hours city tour includes all major sites along with President Caussescu's ten billion USD "People's House," the second largest building in the world.

ST. PETERSBURG

One of the most beautiful cities in the world, St. Petersburg is situated on the Neva River at the east-end of the Gulf of Finland  and the part of Baltic Sea. There are 42 islands and 65 rivers and canals flowing through St. Petersburg. The city was founded by Peter I in 1703 and from 1712 - 1728 it was the capital of the Russian Empire. With its 5 millions inhabitants, it is nowadays the second largest city in Russia. Due to its beauty, St. Petersburg is a welknown as the "Venice of the North".

Ukraine

KIEV
Kiev is the capital of the Ukraine, situated on the banks of rivers Dneper and Dnestar. The city has recently had its 1000th anniversary, which makes it one of the oldest towns in the country. Kiev has 2.5 millions inhabitants and is a tourist's delight with its numerous monuments and unique architecture. The beautiful cathedral of St. Sophia with its golden domes, baroque 18th Century St. Andrew's Church, the old buildings of the Podol Quarter, Pecherskaya Lavra Monastery with its mummified monks, and Baby Yar, a memorial to the 100,000 victims of the Nazis in 1941. BEIJING

Beijing features some of China's most grandiose ancient and modern monuments, such as the Temple of Heaven and the Tianamen Square. The mystical Forbidden Palace is home to concubines, 9,000 ladies in waiting, and 100,000 eunuchs and was once closed to all males but the emperor. The initial impression of the current Beijing is one of the bright lights of Las Vegas, but the huge monumental buildings leaves historic remnants of a true megalopolis.
